It shows: Cunard Line named Q Cruise + Travel in Chicago (formerly Cruise Holidays Chicago on Magnificent Mile) to its exclusive Inner Circle group of travel agencies for over ten years. We are one of Cunard’s highest producers in North America and one of a very select group of travel agencies invited when Her Majesty the Queen named Cunard Line’s newest ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth in Southampton, England. Cunard also invited our certified Cunard Commodore experts to inspect Queen Mary 2 following her “remastering”, the extensive update this magnificent ocean liner underwent in the summer of 2016.
Why does that matter? Few travel agents, let alone call center agents, can match our first-hand knowledge and expertise of Cunard Line. We have personally sailed on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, in rooms varying from Inside and Balcony through the exclusive Princess Grill and Queens Grill suites. All our cruise specialists are certified Cunard Commodore experts. And finally, we offer additional amenities and spending credits on many Cunard sailings.
What is the Cunard Line experience?
After celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2015, Cunard Line continues to proudly honor its cherished British heritage. You’ll enjoy grand experiences aboard modern ocean liners that pay homage to the golden age of ocean travel. Set sail from iconic ports and enjoy the sense of occasion as you prepare for a Royal Night-themed ball. Partake in the tradition of English tea every afternoon in the Queens Room, or have a pint in the English pub.
During the day, relax in the spa, learn to tango, work up an appetite in the gym or enjoy a morning walk around the ship on the traditional teakwood promenade deck. On Queen Mary 2’s Transatlantic Crossings, you’ll have the opportunity to attend workshops and presentations by a multitude of celebrated speakers – authors, astronauts, politicians, actors and historians. Taking it easy? Enjoy the great line of shops, play cards, read in the largest library at sea or simply watch the world go by.
At night, depending on the accommodation you selected, you’ll dine in the Britannia Restaurant, the Britannia Club, Princess Grill or the pinnacle of them all: the Queens Grill restaurant. Enjoy a show in the theatre, dance the night away on the biggest dance floor at sea or in a night club or tempt Lady Luck in the casino.
Whatever you do, it is no wonder that a Cunard Line Transatlantic Crossing or cruise is on so many people’s bucket list.
Cunard Destinations
Cunard’s itineraries can be subdivided into three main groups:
- Transatlantic Crossings – Cunard’s flagship, the elegant Queen Mary 2 is the only ship that operates a schedule of glamorous Transatlantic Crossings between Southampton and New York, some extending into Hamburg. Many Q Cruise + Travel clients who don’t like flying long distance choose for the comfort of roundtrip Transatlantic sailings and we gladly help them plan their time in Europe too. Pet lovers will also appreciate our ability to arrange for your dog or cat to travel along with you in the only kennels at sea, on Queen Mary 2. Note that kennel space is very limited, so contacting us far in advance (at least six months to a year before you’re planning to cross the Atlantic) is a great idea.
- World Cruises and Grand Voyages – All three Cunard Queens set sail in January for their annual ventures around the world. Cunard does world cruises extremely well and the arrival of a Cunard Queen into many cities sets of many celebrations. But even if you don’t have time for a full world cruise, the Cunard Line specialists at Q will gladly help you find a world cruise segment that fits your schedule and interests.
- European, Caribbean and Canada & New England Cruise itineraries – Sail from Southampton to Norway; St. Petersburg and the Baltic, around the British Isles or to the Mediterranean or Canary Islands. One Queen lets you combine 7-night itineraries in the Mediterranean into 14, 21 or even 28 day sailings. And from Cunard’s US homeport of New York City, you may travel to the Caribbean or Canada and New England.
Q Cruise + Travel Monthly Cunard Sale Event
As a Cunard Inner Circle top agency, we are happy to offer our clients additional onboard credits and reduced deposits on most Cunard cruises during our (almost) monthly Cunard Sale Event.
This credit can amount to up to $300 per room or suite extra to spend onboard during your cruise or Transatlantic Crossing.
