Q Cruise + Travel believes in protecting your privacy.
Arranging vacation travel is a very personal service. To do it well, we have to collect personal information from you. We’d like you to know what we do with that information, whether we collect it online, over the phone or in person:
What information do we collect?
When you contact us for information about travel and vacations, we may ask for and store the following information in our digital or paper files, so we can answer your requests, provide you with travel news and special offers and prepare travel arrangements for you and your travel companions:
- Names and contact details
- Travel history, interests and desires; personal interests and hobbies; anniversary dates and special events – so we can offer more relevant travel suggestions
- Age, state or country or residence, past passenger status – so we can check on special offers and availability
- Special needs and requests, such as mobility or dietary needs, etc. – so we can arrange the appropriate accommodation and services for you
- Dates of birth, nationality, passport information, visa status – to provide to suppliers and government agencies as required when arranging travel
- Credit card and other payment information – to guarantee or pay for travel arrangements
- Other information that may help us to further customize or enhance your travels
We take appropriate steps to make sure the personal information in our records is accurate. If you notice that something is not, please let us know as soon possible to prevent difficulties when traveling.
Travel News, Marketing and Special Offers
Many of our (prospective) clients like learning more about travel and available offers, so we will use the information collected to keep you informed and to provide more personalized service, by mail, email or telephone. We don’t want to overwhelm you with marketing materials, though. The more detailed the information we have about your travel preferences, the more relevant the travel news and offers you receive.
We won’t sell your information. You will only receive travel information and special offers directly from us, our travel supplier partners, or from Virtuoso, the luxury travel network of which we are proud members.
Want to receive marketing information only via mail or only via e-mail? Or don’t want to receive any marketing information at all? No problem – just let us know your preferences. We’ll update our systems accordingly and, although there may be a delay before this change takes effect, we will stop sending marketing information to you.
Servicing Travel Reservations
If you “unsubscribed” to our travel news, we will do our utmost to honor your request. Of course, if you have booked travel with us, we may need and will continue to contact you via phone, mail or email, in order to service your reservation and travel needs.
When we make travel arrangements on your behalf, we will provide your personal information to travel suppliers and/or government agencies in order to facilitate travel.
