Wanted: Luxury Cruise Travel Advisor

Are you passionate about luxury cruising and are experienced in sales?  Are you a friendly professional with a talent for building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service?  If so, we’d love to have you join our team at Q Cruise + Travel.

We are seeking a Cruise Travel Advisor to join our team in our office on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. This is a permanent in-office position, ideally full-time, but we are open to considering part-time options for the right candidate as we understand you may be juggling family commitments or your love for travel!

Key Responsibilities

• Understand each client’s preferences and travel style to provide expert recommendations on cruise options, destinations, and itineraries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business, referrals and long-term loyalty.
• Own the planning and booking process from the initial consultation through to the client’s return, ensuring a seamless experience and addressing any cruise-related questions along the way.
• Proactively identify opportunities to engage with clients and inspire future cruise bookings.
• Stay informed on industry trends, new cruise products, and exclusive offerings to secure the best experiences and maximize value for our clients.

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for cruise travel, especially in the luxury cruise market, ideally with first-hand experience and knowledge of river cruising, expedition and small-ship experiences.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Prior experience as a leisure travel advisor or in the travel industry is desirable.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Understand the expectations of, and ideally have worked with, a luxury upscale clientele.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
